Joint venture agreement to train midwives


midwives-training-by-SCAA Joint Venture Agreement between SCA and Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) was inaugurated today in the NAC Kabul Central Office.

The purpose of this agreement is to continue and expand cooperation between SCA and NAC.
 The joint venture agreement regards implementation of the Community Midwifery Educations in Wardak and Laghman. 48 midwives will be trained in these provinces.
SCA will fund the projects while NAC will implement them. The agreement is effective until the end of December 2016.
The agreement was finalized last week and signed by both parties today. Among others, the Country Directors Mr. Dimitrije Todorovic of SCA and Mr. Terje M. Watterdal of NAC attended the meeting.
