Switzerland’s new ambassador to Kabul on Tuesday said he would make efforts at further enhancing relations between his country and Afghanistan.
Marc George was talking at a gathering held in his honour at the Presidential Palace, where President Ashraf Ghani accepted his credentials.
At the ceremony, Ghani and George discussed relations and cooperation between the two countries, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
The Swish envoy said he would make efforts as part of his job to further improve ties between the two countries.
Ashraf Ghani wished him success in his new job in Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani was also present on the occasion.
